George Russel grabs Austrian GP by surprise

Superb weather, nice landscape and a brilliant atmosphere - Red Bull ring was set for a great Formula 1 weekend ….<div>Max Verstappen did all he could do by winning the sprint race on Saturday for his “Dutch army”, all Austrian Red Bull supporters and his bosses ….. Piastri and Norris came second and third. Only Red Bull, Mc Laren , Mercedes andFerrari in  the top 8….. Sunday’s  GP started kind of boring - Max looked to control everything and there was not a lot of action at the beginning …. After the last pit stop Lando Norris pushed hard and overtook Max several times - finally they crashed and George Russel grabbed  the first victory for Mercedes since 2022…. A happy Oskar Piastri and Charlos Sainz joined him on the podium. Sensational results for Hulkenberg as 6th, Magnusson as 8th and Ricciardo as 9th…. The next event will take place next weekend in Silverstone.</div>
