British weather over all four days of the event with rain, cold and some sunshine helped to creat a dramatical race weekend in Silverstone. Three British drivers ( Russel, Hamilton and Norris) startet from the best positions in the race on Sunday. Russel was lading at the beginning but had not chance to hold the two McLarens of Norris and Piastri. Two times writing decisions for their pit stops cost Mc Laren a possible 1 -2 and made Lewis Hamilton a winner again after more than 950 days (Saudi 2021): Lewis won his 104th GP and his 9th in Silverstone ans was a happy as all British supporters. Verstappen finished 2nd ahead of disappointed Norris and Pisatri. Carlos Sainz brought his Ferrari home on 5th ahead of Nico Hulkenberg in the Haas! Stroll, Alonso, Albon and Tsunoda catche the final championship points. The next race will take place outside Budapest on Hungaroring in two weeks time.
